The Clash were a punk rock band from Britain that lasted from 1976 until 1985. One of the bands most critically acclaimed at the time, the Clash became known for his musical range (incorporating reggae, ska, dub, funk, rap and rockabilly, and possibly other musical styles in his repertoire), for demonstrating a lyrical sophistication and political that distinguished them from most of his companions in the punk movement, and their explosive live performances.
