Dental implant is a way of replacing a tooth or a group of missing teeth. 

A titanium screw is fixed in the bone beneath the gum and, after a period that can be immediately or up to two months, the prosthesis is placed in a way made to appear natural, with the same shape and color of the rest of the teeth. This healing time is needed for the piece of titanium be adhered to the bone layer.
